The location of this property was absolutely beautiful! Although we didn't have much time to explore, we found a map and suggested walks in the welcome information. We're definitely planning to come back later this year to fully investigate the area. Plus, the property's convenient location made it easy for us to visit all the places we wanted to see by car. Cons: Nothing 🙌.

The location of our stay was absolutely stunning. We didn't have enough time to fully explore, but the welcome information provided us with a map and suggested walks. We'll definitely be returning later in the year to get a proper glimpse of the surroundings. the property's convenient location allowed us to easily visit the places we wanted to see by car.

We felt incredibly welcome during our stay at Drake Cottage in Whitby, with no complaints whatsoever. the proprietors were friendly and made sure we were aware of the check-out time, even though they seemed a bit curious, peeking through the back door when they thought we had left.

The location was so rad, surrounded by lush landscapes perfect for hike-loving teens like us. We explored the breathtaking Whitby Abbey ruins that felt straight out of a fantasy movie, and then hit up the spooky Dracula's Castle, getting our thrills in style. Can't wait to go back and conquer those walking trails!

Alright, so here's the deal. Drake Cottage was totally fun, but as party animals, we would've loved a killer stereo system to blast our favorite tunes and really get the party vibe going.

The cottage was warm and comfy with lovely decor. The location was beautiful, offering breathtaking views. The welcome information provided a map and suggested walks, which we hope to explore on our next visit. the property was conveniently located for us to easily visit nearby attractions by car.

The proprietor had a noseyness problem and an abrupt, nasty personality. The cottage was situated at the bottom of a very steep hill, making it challenging to access.

We had a fantastic stay at Drake Cottage. The location was stunning, with beautiful views and plenty of walking routes to explore. The cottage itself was warm, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The decor added a charming touch to the overall ambiance. We particularly enjoyed catching the proprietor knocking on our door and peering through the back, thinking we had left. It was quite amusing when caught and he awkwardly explained he was just letting us know the check-out time. We found it endearing and it added an extra layer of entertainment to our stay. Though there were a few drawbacks, like the steep hill leading to the cottage and the distance to the nearest amenities, these didn't overshadow the overall positive experience. We will definitely return to Drake Cottage later in the year to further explore the area. we highly recommend this lovely getaway destination.

The location was stunning, surrounded by natural beauty and offering picturesque walks right at my doorstep. The cottage itself was warm, comfortable, and impeccably clean, with charming decor that made me feel right at home. Though small, the bathroom was functional and the amenities provided were more than sufficient for my needs. I particularly enjoyed catching the proprietors peeking in through the back door - they were simply ensuring I was aware of check-out time, which I found quite amusing. I had a wonderful time at Drake Cottage and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and cozy getaway.
